As a client, is it ok to ask to be in charge of when sessions are over? I almost never need a full 50 minutes. And that number seems pretty arbitrary to me anyway. I’d be willing to pay the same for 20 min.

What should I do if my therapist is being unprofessional? We haven’t met, but have sessions by video chat. He’s eaten, his phone rings, texts ring, & I think sometimes he’s browsing on his laptop during our session. I feel so awkward addressing it.
