I’ve been dissociating more than not. I’ve felt a serious detachment from my body to the point where I feel like my consciousness is controlling my body like it’s a video game. Does anybody know the ways to help this terrifying state of mind?

What are some examples of skills that really help with grounding, anxiety, CPTSD, and dissociation? I’m really good at distraction-related skills, but I need help figuring out other skills to use because I don’t remember others when I’m dissociating.

What could be a cause of me dissociating so bad in class I panic and lose contact a bit, I start to get vulnerable? I mention I'm seeing a therapist and dissociation made me skip classes for 4 weeks, people know something's wrong.

Do you experience intense physical and mental pain when you come out of dissociation? If so, do you think this is psychological or actually real? I don’t understand because doctors say I’m healthy and I take care of my self even when dissociated (I meditate/workout/eat).

Whenever I'm in a cave system I feel really unwell. Not potholing just as a tourist in a well lit cave. I start to feel dizzy, lightheaded, very cold, almost to the point of dissociation. Does anyone else get this or know why this happens?

Is this dissociation? My vision goes out of focus, I feel like I retreat back into my brain, but it’s not out-of-body and I can mostly still think straight. I usually don’t have amnesia in those moments, but I can’t remember the time as clearly.
