It is very kind of my psychiatrist to provide therapy without charging me. But without fees, it is a weird dynamic. Trust me, I am happy not paying, but are there any cons to this kind of arrangement or red flags I should be aware of? First timer.

If your therapist cancels, at the last minute, what are your thoughts and feelings? Maybe, her disclosure, a serious illness, within her family.. does this knowledge shift your thinking, in later sessions? Perhaps, some anger and/or resentment, necessarily tempered, even shelved?
