During therapy sessions, my therapist sometimes won't let me finish what I am telling them, but instead just talks over me. It always makes me feel rushed in speaking like I can't take my time or even pause briefly in between. Is this done purposely?

Hi guys,<br></br>I've been with my T 6.5 years now and we have a wonderful TR. She recently did some EMDR training and within the next few months i would like to start incorporating that into our therapy. I know its very different than the talk therapy we have been doing. My question is for anyone who does EDMR...how have you managed to keep your TR connection when doing EDMR?

How long did it take for you to get over your feelings for your therapist (your transference)? How did you know? Im asking because talking it through with her had made me realize a lot that I had confused but it’s hard for me to “get over” what I believe originally. I’m not even sure I am.
