When therapists and clients go on much needed and awaited vacation… Do you count down the days/weeks? Is counting down the remaining time until next session helpful or hurtful for you? In what way?

Psychotherapists, how would you respond if a client asks if you care? My therapist replied with "i care about all my clients." I know that that's true. but it still hurts to be just one of many they care about. is it unreasonable to feel hurt by it?
