Does your therapist tell you they are proud of you? Do they give many verbal affirmations and are they more neutral, seeming to be waiting for you to be proud of yourself? Therapists-is there a reason you wouldn’t offer much praise or accolade as encouragement. I feel discouraged and want her to tell me she is proud of me

How do I tell my therapist about childhood SA if I am not sure it happened? I have brief memories of situations but nothing concrete. I have all the signs and symptoms of someone who was abused as a child. Will they think I’m lying if I am not sure?

Many therapists have said they can tell when someone is dissociating and have stated there are signs it's happening. If that's truely the case, and it appears obvious to you… Why does it take 8 years and 3 misdiagnosises before you recognize DID?

When I'm on my period I'm always scared to go to my therapy appointment and stain my therapist's couch since I have a heavy flow. How would you react if this happened to one of your clients? Would you be angry find her gross and ask for a new couch?
