Sometimes when I go to sleep I can hear a high pitched ringing. Sometimes I hallucinate, and lucid dream. Could this be spiritual?

I just started meditating. I have always had slight visual hallucinations, but while meditating they get much more intense. Do you have any insight? The hallucinations make it difficult to stay empty. To describe them: outlines and colors blur.
