How do I get diagnosed with ADD? I know self-diagnosing is never a good idea but after 3 years of spending time in a school that is filled to the brim with ADD/ADHD students, I have been told multiple times that I show signs of the condition.

My therapist told me that I cannot be diagnosed with ADHD, despite having more than enough qualifying symptoms which clearly impact my life, since I get good grades; is this true? (I’m 16 if that’s important)
