In Islam, there is no specific Surah mentioned in the Quran that is prescribed to be recited exclusively for finding the right marriage partner. However, Muslims believe that seeking guidance and blessings from Allah (God) through prayer and recitation of various verses from the Quran can be beneficial in all aspects of life, including finding a suitable spouse.

When it comes to finding a good spouse, Muslims often turn to Surah Al-Furqan (Chapter 25) and make specific supplications (dua) mentioned in the Quran or taught by Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him). The key is to ask for Allah's guidance and help in finding a righteous and compatible partner who will be a source of blessings and happiness in both this life and the Hereafter.

Some common duas related to finding a suitable spouse include:

  1. Rabbana hab lana min azwajina wadhurriyatina qurrata a'yunin waj'alna lil-muttaqina imama. (Surah Al-Furqan, 25:74) - "Our Lord, grant us from among our wives and offspring comfort to our eyes and make us an example for the righteous."

  2. Allahumma inni as'aluka khayrahu wa khayra ma jabaltahu 'alaihi wa a'udhu bika min sharrihi wa sharri ma jabaltahu 'alaihi. (Hadith) - "O Allah, I ask You for the good in him/her and the good with which You have created him/her, and I seek refuge with You from the evil in him/her and the evil with which You have created him/her."

It is essential to approach the process of finding a marriage partner with sincerity, patience, and trust in Allah's wisdom. Muslims are encouraged to make dua consistently and to engage in active efforts to meet potential partners through appropriate and halal (permissible) means, such as family referrals, matrimonial services, or community events.

Additionally, seeking advice and guidance from family, friends, and religious scholars can also be valuable during this process. The focus should be on finding someone with good character, shared values, and a commitment to living a righteous and God-conscious life together.
