No, a human cannot survive as just a skeleton. The human body requires more than just bones to function and sustain life. Bones are essential for structural support, protection of vital organs, and serving as attachment points for muscles. However, bones alone cannot perform the necessary physiological functions to keep a person alive.

To survive, a human needs several organ systems that work together to maintain vital functions. These include the respiratory system for breathing and oxygen exchange, the circulatory system for delivering oxygen and nutrients throughout the body, the digestive system for processing food and absorbing nutrients, and the nervous system for controlling bodily functions and communication.

Additionally, other organs such as the brain, heart, lungs, liver, and kidneys are critical for survival. Each of these organs plays a specific role in maintaining the body's internal balance and ensuring essential processes occur.

Without all the organs, tissues, and bodily systems working together, a person cannot survive. The human body is a complex and interconnected system where each part relies on the others to function properly. Therefore, a skeleton without the rest of the body is lifeless and cannot support life on its own.
