The statement "there is no time in space" can be a bit misleading and requires some clarification. In the context of general relativity, which is Einstein's theory of gravity and spacetime, time is interconnected with space to form a four-dimensional spacetime fabric. Spacetime is the fundamental structure of the universe, and the presence of mass and energy curves this fabric, resulting in what we perceive as gravity.

In regions with intense gravity, such as near a massive star or a black hole, time behaves differently compared to areas of weaker gravity, like those far away from massive objects. This phenomenon is known as time dilation. In areas of strong gravity, time runs slower relative to regions of weaker gravity.

However, for everyday experiences on Earth or in most parts of space that we encounter, the differences in time due to gravity are negligible, and time behaves in a manner consistent with what we observe in our day-to-day lives.

Living things, including humans, experience time just as they always have, regardless of their location in space. They age and experience the passing of time as they interact with the world around them. Time is an intrinsic part of our experience and existence, and it is not negated by being in space.

In some science fiction scenarios or discussions related to advanced physics, the idea of time dilation near black holes or during extremely high-speed travel is explored, but these are hypothetical situations beyond our current technological capabilities.

So, in summary, while time can be affected by gravity in certain extreme conditions, for the vast majority of our experiences and locations in the universe, time behaves as we perceive it in our daily lives, and living things experience and "spend" their lives in the usual manner.
