People don't necessarily fall sick just from getting drenched in rain or taking a shower. Falling sick is generally caused by exposure to pathogens like bacteria or viruses that can lead to infections, weakened immune systems, or other underlying health issues. Both getting drenched in rain and taking a shower involve getting wet, but the risk of falling sick is not solely due to being wet.

The idea that getting drenched in rain leads to sickness is a common misconception. In reality, getting wet in the rain is not directly responsible for making people sick.
