Imagine someone always wanted to own the latest smartphone model but couldn't afford it at the time. They might have saved up or looked forward to a time when they could purchase it. Finally, when they had enough money, they bought the smartphone and enjoyed using it for some time. However, as technology rapidly advances, they might find that their phone is still functional, but they no longer need the latest model, and their current phone meets all their requirements perfectly fine. In this case, they bought something they desired when they lacked the funds but now don't necessarily need it as they did before.
